Kids from the ages of 4+ start in our HotShots Programs. These programs use modified tennis courts, balls and rackets to ensure every child has the best opportunity at success. We define success as the amount of fun, enjoyment and learning a player can have in every session. Kids love to be creative and tennis HotShots provides all types of personalities to shine in our programs. Our Professional Coaches are dedicated to maximising participation giving every child the attention required to learn new skills every time they come to a lesson.

HotShots Lessons for Ages 4-12
Red Ball
Ages 4-7 year olds.
Kids are placed into appropriate groups according to ability.
Lessons are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
30min 1 x weekly session from 4pm Week Days.

Orange Ball Basics
Ages 8-10 year olds.
Kids are placed into appropriate groups according to ability.
45min 1 x weekly session from 4.30pm Week Days.

Red Ball Ages 4-8
Kids from the ages of 4+ play on a court a quarter the size as seen with the yellow lines and red arrows.
We integrate hand eye coordination, balance and movement exercises into learning the fundamentals of hitting a tennis ball.
Kids this age will learn what groundstrokes are, how to score and participate in activities that teach them how to hit each one over.
Within a term kids start to demonstrate what a rally is and play a variety of fun games.
Orange Ball Ages 8-10
The First Big Progression that allows kids to experience a bigger court and for those who are ready over the standard size net.
The Tennis balls become smaller similar to the standard yellow ball adults use however they have 25% off the compression making them bounce less and move slower through the air.
At this age we apply more technical fundamentals while still integrating higher levels of coordination and movement.
Kids learn footwork patterns and gain a basic understanding of tactics. Players of these ages are ready to play in a more competitive space with basic match play activities.
Green Ball Ages 10-12
The First Big Progression that allows kids to experience a bigger court and for those who are ready over the standard size net.

HotShot Academy - Mini/Little League
This is a chance for our newest and youngest students to play the real game with real scoring. Competitiveness is kept to a minimum but FUN is to the MAXIMUM! We encourage parents to get involved and help kids learn the scoring and rules of the game. Matches are modified just like their lessons and not matter the skill level everyone has a chance to play. Dates and times will be advertised.
